Since 1920, the main purpose of the Woldingham Village Club has been to provide a warm and welcoming venue at the heart of the village where residents of all ages and their families can meet and relax in comfort and safety. As a local organisation, the Club is committed to being active in the life of the village and to work closely with other groups in helping make Woldingham a good place in which to live.
The Club has been a registered charity since 1961 and survives largely from the patronage of its members, from various fund raising events and from the active voluntary support of some key members. All profits are reinvested into the Club for future development and improvement.
In recent years, the Club has been successful in attracting a broader cross-section of members from different backgrounds and professions. The aim is to build of this success and to make the Club an even more interesting and rewarding location for everyone.
